So, here is another garage recording from our band, Citizen Groove, this past weekend.

The recording is one take, no punch ins and a quick mix down.

I’m playing an MusicMan Sting Ray Classic in to a Kustom KBX500 then to the board. I pulled back the Highs from 12 to 11 on the KBX500 and on the bass I boosted the lows.

We record all our practices. We’ve been using a field recorder, but this weekend we set 2 mics on the drums, one on guitar, ran the keys and bass direct and here were the results. My rig was a KBX500, Dragoon 210 and my Big Al 5 using middle and bridge pickup in passive mode.
